XBOX Live's Interface
This is without a doubt a rant, proceed at your own risk.
I think XBOX's glamorous, glitterous, glossy look sucks more than a Mac. And if you read my Apple article you know how much I think of them. I have tried, over the last many months since release to like it, but it is what it is, one giant advertisement. It's kind of like going to a site full of endless nonstop spam.
It's completely unoriginal. They "upgraded" Nintendo's Mii's, and took the interface design straight from Apple. Maybe I don't want to see a fucking row of pictures displaying what everything is, I am capable of reading. It's not like I'm a foreigner at McDonalds pointing to the value meal I want and nodding my head yes or no. Finding new releases this way is nightmarish. It used to be so simple, and now it's just plain frustrating. Good job Microsoft (see: sarcasm).

I kinda like it. It's a bit more organized. Two things I hate about it are: like you, the XBox version of the Mii's. (What's the point seriously?) and the fact that they took away some of the options that were on the original interface.
You gotta admit there's some good parts though. The private party idea finally came true, and you can see the achievements faster than you would have on the old face.

I think it's actually less organized. Seriously the first time I loaded it up it took me awhile just to realize how to play the damn game I had in there. And you can only see like 15 new releases. If I havent been on for a week and Rock Band decides to release 20 things I miss out on all the other new releases unless I specifically look up a game and what's available for download, that's my biggest annoyance.
But yeah, there are some good things to it. I also miss some of the features that used to be there. I have to say though I like PS3's interface way better.
