Divo's Advice: Old Navy

In these rough economic times, you may be tempted to slash your personal budget in many ways to cope. Of course, luxury items are usually the first to consider. Clothing most certainly falls in that category. In fact, you may even go so low as to shop at Old Navy (gasp).

I urge you to take a strong look at yourself in the mirror before you stoop so low as to subject yourself to this awful retailer. I've always viewed Old Navy as the lazy man's (or woman's) solution to finding trendy clothing. Everyone I've ever met who shops there seems to be of the "I act like I don't care what I look like, so I shop at Old Navy because it's cheap, but I really do care, but I don't know how to actually dress myself" variety.

Old Navy has always capitalized off the latest clothing trends, by producing cheap knock-offs that are made from crappy materials, don't fit your body, and well, LOOK like they're from Old Navy. In fact, when I see someone wearing shitty clothing, I usually say to myself "that's clearly from Old Navy," and I'm always right.

Now, at this point, you're saying "You asshole! I shop at Old Navy! Some of us can only afford this shitty ass clothing!" This is where I am going to tell you that you are very very wrong. Although the base price of Old Navy clothing is dirt cheap in comparison to the base price of respectable stores, a smart shopper knows he can get much better clothing if he's smart and goes for clearance racks and sales.

The moral of the story is, put some time in people!!! Flock to those clearance racks at real stores!!! No one takes you seriously when you wear clothes from Old Navy, this is a fact! The next time you consider leaving your house in your capri pants and rugby polo, think about how much more successful you could be in your life if people actually took you seriously.

Stay awesome,

Divo

Leave the house? Why would you ever have to do that? And what are these "clothes" you speak of?

So you are saying if peaple leave the house to go shopping. they should go to marshalls or TJ Maxx to shop for cloths, because these stores have nothing but racks of sale and clearance cloths. No thanks I will stick with shopping at old navy.
