Google Street View
If you haven't tried out the addition to Google Maps, which is a couple years old already, it's pretty damned cool. What Google did is have a vehicle drive down the streets of major cities and take 360 degree photos of everything. I was able to find my house and car on it, kinda neat.
Now the real funny part is how as this thing is taking pictures, it also takes pictures of people doing stupid and/or embarassing shit. For example in this recent article Google removes street images over privacy complaints (AFP) people were photographed at opportune moments such as vomiting outside of a pub or walking out of a sex store. What I don't get is why Google is pussying out with this and taking down these pictures on request. These people are doing this stupid shit in PUBLIC DOMAIN and then crying about how they were caught in the act. It's not like Google created this xray vision camera that can watch people in their houses (private domain). We'll leave that to MI6 and the CIA. So stop being a wuss Google and leave up the stupid shit people do, if they're dumb enough to do it in public domain, then they deserve to have the world see it!
People are, and will most likely continue to be, dumbasses.
